Leveraging the Power of Google Apps- Professional Development Plan
In my current position I am in charge of designing and implementing a district wide EdTech professional development plan. This assignment was not only beneficial for me, but it also allowed me to take this assignment and use practically apply it. While all of these components were present in the professional development that was happening, they were not written down in a consolidated place. It brought so much meaning when I recorded the sessions and the overall plan in one place.
It even inspired my team and I to create a site for administrators to support them in their school improvement plans. The site defined our roles and responsibilities, gave an overview of the type of PD that we facilitate, outlined different PD sessions, and gave them resources to support them in their improvement plans. We were able to use the same framework with a few tweaks, and just like that, this assignment was used for two major projects in my professional practice.
